Lunch

For a quick lunch choose from our Light Lunch menu which offers a selection from a sandwich lunch with fries and salad, salad or a hot lunch. For Senior Citizens we are offering a lunchtime special of 2 courses from a set menu for £8.50. This menu is available from Monday to Saturday lunchtimes only. (Loyalty discount does not apply, bonus points are not affected).

Evening

Served from our Steakhouse menu with a wide choice of starters, you can then chose to build a burger or a tasty steak from the wide variety available or you could chose from our alternative mains menu which also includes at least 3 vegetarian choices and some of Tides old favourites such as beer battered fish and chips. With the majority of the meals is a choice of potato including Tides own hand cut chips and a salad bowl for the table. Some choices from the mains menu may have their own accompaniment and potato or rice comes as an extra. We also have a wide choice of add ons, sauces and side orders. Finish your meal with a dessert from a wide selection which includes Tides favourites such as chocolate brownie and crème brulee.

Sunday Lunch

12 noon - 3pm
A Sunday roast with a choice of meats, accompanied by a wide variety of freshly cooked seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a red wine gravy. We offer a Sunday lunchtime special of 2 courses consisting of a roast and dessert from a set menu for £10 (Loyalty discount does not apply, bonus points are not affected) or you may select from our full Steakhouse & Grill menu.
 

Wine Bar

Tides has an excellent selection of wines by the glass and bottle, we pick and taste all our wines to drink by themselves or to compliment our food. Apart from the quality and taste the other good thing about our wine is the price, ranging from £13.25 for our house white to £29.95 for Champagne Moutard Grande Cuvee. To finish your meal as well as serving coffee and liqueur we also offer a range of Cocktails made to order.

Function Room

Our upstairs Function Room is available for private hire for weddings, birthdays, hen nights, wakes etc and also for business use during the day for meetings, seminars and conferences. 3 Set menus and 3 Buffet menus are available here . Seating up to 40, more if you are having a buffet Tides can cater for your needs and if the upstairs room is not large enough then you can of course book the downstairs restaurant as well. Please contact us for further information or to arrange to come and look round.

Please note that we use nuts on the premises. Please remember to advise us on booking if you have any allergies or special dietary needs and also tell the waitress when ordering your meal.
