Now opening 7 days a week!!!Jonathon Caswell and Alex Reid are now in their 5th year as the driving forces behind Tides Steakhouse & Grill. The restaurant continues to move forward following the rebranding to a Steakhouse & Grill in July 2009. In May 2010 Jon and Alex added an upstairs function room to the restaurant with it's own bar and facilities. This function room is available for booking for private functions during the daytime as well as the evening, and is also used as another seating area when the downstairs restaurant is full. Jon has produced a range of set and buffet menus for parties using the room.
 Tides have a Takeaway service and a Light Lunch menu, both menus are available on the website and other special menus are available from time to time. The Steakhouse & Grill menu is updated regularly and offers steaks and burgers to your own specifications as well as a wide choice of alternatives including ribs, fish and some exciting vegetarian choices. With the emphasis at Tides on family dining there is also a separate children’s menu of nachos, a main course, dessert and a drink and a Goody Bag for £6.50. Why not try one of our new cocktails whilst you are here. Themed nights are on offer at various times during the year and often present are local musicians to add to the entertainment.
In September 2010 a Loyalty Card scheme was introduced which offers card holders 10% off their dining, subject to our card terms & conditions, as well as a discount when booking the Function Room for a party or event. The cardholder also gets one bonus point for every £1 spent at Tides and for every 500 bonus points receives a £25 Tides voucher. The scheme has been very successful and we currently have more than 1100 card holders, with applications still coming in every week, we are looking at ways of extending the scheme to benefit our customers. We hope that the quality of food speaks for itself. As one of the only restaurants who freshly prepare everying on the premises we always have something different on offer.
